2 is not 1

What does it mean by the heading itself? Well, just yesterday I had this sudden feelings of uncertainties in life. It was quite a devastating one and I think I have a different mindset now compared to that of me years ago. Today I feel such a deluge of energy going through my body and it makes my perspective towards life much better.

There are sacrifices to be made in order to achieve something and it is what I call opportunity costs in economics. I have learnt that one's enjoyment of something is always derived from another's foregone pleasure. For instance we earn money with our own effort for our pleasures. People will then make money from us by giving us pleasures(goods or services). If they have to work, their leisure time is foregone just to earn our money.

To make it simpler,
Enjoyment = Foregone pleasure when seeking money to buy the enjoyment

Therefore we will be able to know that when we are enjoying something, someone is sacrificing his/her leisure time to fulfill your satisfaction. Same thing happens when you are working hard so that you can buy more enjoyment, others are benefiting from your efforts. This is a circulatory event and will continue to happen for years to come.

Conclusion : Life is full of uncharted mysteries.
