2 weeks have gone, yet my uncle's still lying on the bed in ICU at University Hospital.Nevertheless we were all relieved to at last see some improvement in his fitness, though not a significant one,but enough to reduce some worries from us.He now can at least move his fingers and is able to urinate on his own(been depending on a dialyses machine for the past 1 and a 1/2 weeks). The memory of me sending him to the hospital still remains vividly in my mind. The way he yelled for pain while I rushed him to the ward.It was very unbearable of me to ever go through that again.Life's hard and unpredictable, isn't it?How long more do we all must wait impatiently and worriedly for his recovery?
His eyes are full of tears everytime I visited him.I truly understood how he had been feeling after spending weeks on the bed, without eating, drinking, walking or talking.Imagine the hard time he had to endure and still going through even at this very moment? He had always wanted to say something but he couldn't do so.He could hardly nod or shake his head when I talked to him.
Please, let him recover as soon as possible.
Please, move him away from pain and misery.
I can only pray...

Accident!
For the 1st time in my life did I witness a traffic accident right in front of me.I saw the whole process of the collision between a car and a bus.I was sitting in the car with my dad when we were on our way heading to my college. It actually happened at a junction, and our car was about to cross the junction.According to the law in Malaysia, one's car must stop before crossing the junction if there's a white box on their road. The car, which was a Wira was crossing the junction. He was not at all aware of the bus, which was travelling at a great speed. The bus driver didn't seem to decrease his speed eventhough he ought to pause at the junction before crossing it.The first half of the Wira apparently went past the junction but the bus inevitably hit the back of the car. Both the drivers seemed shocked and stunned about what had just occurred.
I visited my uncle, who was still in ICU now for the 2nd week.I felt an intense pain in my heart seeing him lying on the bed with lots of wires and tubes on him.He was in a half-conscious condition, which meant he could hear what we say but couldn't talk to us,nor could he move his limbs.I didn't know what I could do to soothe his misery.I felt so helpless.May God bless him all the time.

A week of devastation
A week, yea it's exactly a week since last Monday when I sent my uncle to the hospital. His condition hasn't improved though. If he did,he wouldn't have by now still staying in the ICU.I felt like asking him so many questions but he never seemed to have a sign of opening his eyes, let alone waking up.How long will I have to wait till he regains his consciousness?I can see no ending of this eternal waiting. The bills have been piling up.Expenses of a week in the hospital are so frightening immense that we all could hardly afford. If the money spent on the hospital fees were to be put in for other use,I think a new car can be bought without instalments.
"Please wake up and let's go home."It's the only thing I so desperately wanna convey to my uncle, but can he hear me?I sincerely wish he could......

Harry Potter's Day
21st July,a day made by reknowned author J.K.Rowling to officially release her final book for Harry Potter worldwide. It's expected that enormous crowd around the world would be rushing to grab a copy of the highly-anticipated book.Today's a cheerful day for Potter fans and practically everyone would stop everything to just read the book.
In contrast, worries surround me as my uncle is still in ICU right now.I really pray for him to recover, very very much...

A Gloomy Day
Yesterday was somewhat I would call a black day.The moment I reached my aunt's house,I saw my uncle keep vomiting and complaining about the pain in his stomach, while holding his tummy moaning for relief.I couldn't bear to see my uncle continue to suffer,so I drove him to the nearest clinic.I registered for him and held him into the consultation room.We weren't the first though, but a kind man let us go in before him.
At that time,my uncle's complexion was completely pale,he looked frail as well. After the initial examination from the doctor(Dr.Ho),I knew the situation was quite severe by looking at his expression. He quickly commanded the nurses to prepare necessary tools so that he could make a more comprehensive body check on my uncle. My uncle's heartbeat was checked, blood pressure was measured and Dr.Ho even used an OSK for a more thorough heart checkup. As a result of my uncle's unbearable pain in the right abdomen,he asked for a shot of analgesic. My uncle by then was already half-conscious though.Dr Ho explained to me that the condition of my uncle wasn't that optimistic and he suggested me to take my uncle to a hospital. He wrote an emergency letter for me and requested me to send my uncle directly to the emergency ward.
The nurses at the clinic were helpful in settling my uncle into the car.I drove him to the Hospital of Malaya.Upon arriving there,I stopped him at the emergency lane and asked for help from the personnel in charge.I later parked my car upstairs, before running down to meet my uncle, who was already on a wheel chair by then. The way the staff at the hospital handled their jobs really pissed me off. They took forever to just make a registration for my uncle and asked us to wait for ages for the consultation, and ironically we were at the EMERGENCY ward.Yes,it was my uncle's turn.(The announcement they made was addressing to mosquitoes I suppose,as the volume of their voice was apparently inaudible. The nurse ordered my uncle to fill a bottle with his urine, after reading through the letter from the clinic. My uncle couldn't do that as the pain was too extreme for him to endure. Then the nurse told us to wait again outside for our turn.I really couldn't understand. This was an emergency case that had to be handled urgently and carefully, but the way they did their job showed as if my uncle's life was valueless.During the waiting period,I had asked the staff there twice at least to hurry as my uncle couldn't bear to wait anymore.
Feeling uncomfortable to see my uncle suffer and was furious at the staff there,I drove my uncle to another hospital, this time a private hospital-Assunta.No difference as the previous one,I stopped at the emergency lane. The staff helped me put my uncle on a wheelchair and pushed him in for an urgent treatment. After I parked my car,I then rushed to the counter and registered for him.I then accompanied him to go for the x-ray scanning. It was already 6 something.I then spoke to the doctor(Dr.Robert Louis) about my uncle's problem. He gazed at the X-ray of my uncle and told me there was some problem in the right part of the stomach of my uncle, but they still hadn't been able to rectify the exact cause of the pain.My uncle had to be admitted into the hospital.I contacted my cousin brother, who was also my uncle's eldest son to take over and make the admission procedure.
I then went home with an exhausted body but a worried soul, praying for him to be in a satisfying condition as soon as possible.

Driving 2 College
Finally, the moment has come.I'm able to drive to college myself. The traffic there is as unimaginable as ever, parking will never suffice and it's like everybody drives there. To be really lucky enough,I can park my car in front of a friend's house but the setback is to have to walk a 7-8 minutes distance maybe?
There are several things I don't fancy about Taylor's:
1)My Maths lecturer doesn't make any difference in terms of improving my mathematical solving skill.
2)My Econs lecturer tends to have replacement class after school hour. The class never ends on time as she loves to extend class.(according to her,she has lots of time to spare)
3)The toilets aren't up to standard.
4)Traffic,well you get it.
5)The computers are of inferior quality.
6)Extremely limited parking lots,if there are, fees charged are insane.
and the list goes on...
Those are things I have to endure for the next 18 months.Hopefully something can be carried out to improve the things mentioned above.

Unforgettable Fun
Yesterday was my 5th day at college.A day before that,a friend suggested to go for a movie with some classmates after the lesson ended.According to another friend, those who were taking law had to attend a law debate at 3.So I thought the movie plan had to be delayed or worse, cancelled.Anyway,we decided to discuss it in class the next day.
I think yesterday was my day as we somehow managed to go for a movie despite having an additional class at 2.They had no law debate to attend but the economics lecturer nearly disappointed us by having a replacement class after school. At first,we had the intention to skip the class, but for a movie? Was it worth it?We appeared to be undecided and attended the class anyway after lunch.
Took a bus,an improved rapid kl.My first time taking rapid kl since its change of system. Before this,we all agreed to go to Sunway Pyramid but hey,how to go there?Bus or cab?The dilemma was dissolved when we all saw a bus with a cardboard stating the destination name.We got up and wondered whether it would go to reach Midvalley before Pyramid or vice versa.
Finally, thank god and we arrived with enthusiasm and well,a little excitement? We all planned for transformer the movie but hey,ah Koh,a.k.s David saw the wrong time for the movie.Compelled to opt for 2nd choice,we went for Surf's up.Guess what,we sat in the 2nd row from the screen. What an amazing experience.I've never sit such close to the enormous screen in my life, not even once and I was totally dismayed by it.Initially I was sort of dizzy gazing at the screen. Therefore,I laid my head down and leaning on the chair in order to have better view.In between the period,I tried to tilt my head to and fro.Luckily it lasted only an hour more,or else I would not be able to sleep then. The 1st thing everybody said after the movie was complaining how aching or painful their neck was.including me of course.Worse still,an experience I would never forget.A memorable short trip with a bunch of new mates.GREAT!
Today, went for another movie with my cousin brother.Transformer was the name.Having heard of how the movie had been getting compliments from literally everyone that had seen it,we were moved to watch it for ourselves.Well, the movie was full of action-packed scenes and we were thrilled for it.It was not the perfect one but it still earned an A from me.
070707,the date for today.I call it the magical 7 day.How sad it is to find it ending within minutes...

5th July 2007
Another day's going to pass by.Today I know some more classmates. The maths class was as usual, still as boring as ever. The maths lecturer does not how to teach, hence we all end up suffering ourselves.I had quite some periods free for today;econs lecturer was absent for 2 consecutive days,LAN hadn't started,I didnt take law plus a 60 minutes break.Spent some time at the library with my classmates.I finally bought 3 books, cost me 200 bucks.
(I wonder why there are so many ants in my house lately?)I can see them virtually anywhere in my house.I'm tired, but I can't sleep. Is this something uncommon happening to me?I'm supposed to study, but I'm not. So?I'm getting lazier and lazier.I knew a friend today. She's my classmate.A lot of similarities between us.Hopefully she may see this blog haha.Time really does fly.I'm scared of the way it passes by me everyday.

Taylor's
Yesterday was my orientation day at Taylor's.As expected, went there for briefing basically. My 1st impression about the campus was still acceptable,in the sense that the environment was equipped with some facilities which I think might come in handy throughout my studies.
22 students in my class, including me of course. So,today's the 2nd day.The only thing that left a big impact on me was how the traffic outside was in a disarray before and after school.Got to know some classmates today, the toilets were quite dirty and luckily my lecturers were not that bad after all.
Look forward to experiencing a new and different life there, though acknowledging that hard times are nearing soon.
