A sinister year

2007 is never a good year.Lots have happened and I very much look forward to next year in hope of a peaceful and safe life.

As usual,I went for jogging with my family in the morning.Everything looked good and normal for us till we found out that our car had been unlocked. To our dismay,my mum's bag was missing and there was some substancial amount of cash in it.It didn't take us a long time to figure out that our car was broken into and valuables in it stolen.

Half a day was used to make a report in the police station.Worse still,my mum was traumatised by what had been happening to us.The number of illegal immigrants in our country has been sky-rocketing these few years and the safety of the people is no longer assured.Nothing much can be done as we can only try to be more alert and pray for our safety.

A lucky day for my sis

Today's a lucky day for my sister. She succeeded in calling to MyFM and managed to win a prize comprises 2 VIP tickets to Rainie's qian chang hui and a Sony BMG voucher worth RM100.Looks like it's time for me to win the prizes next time.
What a fantastic day to her.
Might blog again soon in the future.

Burgled

18th Nov 07
As Dad had gone for an annual dinner in Sabah with his colleagues,Mum and I had decided to stay at my aunt's house for 2 days. However,to our dismay,we found our front gate and doors were left ajar.It was clear that our house had been burgled.Without further ado,we made a report at the nearest police station. The policemen inspected and took some photographs of my messy house.Never in our wildest dream would we have thought some tragedy would befall us as the security in my neighbourhood had always been good.We lost some amount of cash, jewelleries and bottles of alchoholic drinks. It's still a nightmare to us until now.The country's getting unsafe and people now are losing confidence in our cops.Obviously, something had to be done to avoid such catastrophe from continue happening.

A long time since last...

Numerous days have crept passed since my last post.On surface, everything looks as nice as ever. However, nothing appears to be perfect if seen from a different angle. So,it's been 4 months when I began my studies at Taylor's.Lots of events have happened in these 4 months,be them good or bad.3 more weeks to go before my 1st semester exam.I wish I would be motivated to do my revision, but there's just no thrill in it.

Despite the fact that I don't lead a perfect life,I'm grateful to have a blessed one.
I'm feeling appreciative and lucky to live an average life with my loved ones.Hopefully this will continue for as long as it will...

A trip to Ipoh

It was 5 in the morning on Sunday. My family and I got ready for a 1-day trip to Ipoh.We went there along with my auntie and cousin sister. We were going there for something which I currently do not know what it was called in English. We took 2 hours to reach there. We had the local famous food as our breakfast,no missing their white coffee for our drinks. After we were finished with out business,we went to the well-known restaurant to have Ipoh Beansprout Chicken for our lunch. We bought some local snacks before that.We left for our home at around 2.Though it was a relatively short journey,I certainly was happy with our outing together.

Back!

Yay! I'm finally back. It's always nice to come to blog in a jolly mood.I celebrated my 18th birthday with my fellow friends.I was surprised to find out that they bought a pretty delicate cake for my birthday. The celebration happened in a restaurant(as you like it).Frankly I was touched at that time. The owner of the restaurant even cooperated by playing the birthday music!

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartiest gratitude and sincerest appreciation to all my friends.Jess,Alvin,David,Jack,Mabel,Jia Hui,Boon Hui,Li Hui,Chih Ching,Suresh and Vincent.THANK YOU!!! Friends 4eva! =)

Vacation

Tomorrow my parents will be on their vacation to Shanghai,China.I wish them a happy and safe journey.Due to the fact that I will be staying at my aunt's house for the next couple of days with no Internet access, therefore I may have to leave my blogspot for some little while.Hopefully by the time I come back,I'll bring some good news with me.

Hari Raya

Yes,it's finally ended, the Hari Raya most Malays had been longing for. It's school time for me too after a break of 4 days.I had been sick since before the break.Flipping through the paper,I saw news of people dead either from murder or accident. It's saddening to know about the fact that people die everyday, perhaps every second. In fact, life's destined to go its way.Nobody can ever predict what lies ahead for him.We can only pray......for the best to come......

Test!

Today I had my maths test right in the 1st period. It was a terrible one and my hope was that as long as I could cross the borderline. It entirely reflected the result of not doing any revision for it.

During the last period,I realised that I had lost my pencil case, most likely in the lecture hall 8 where I had my economics lesson before it.So,I just went there to check it out. When I entered the room,I noticed that it was Yit Tze's class.Luckily,I managed to recovered my pencil case there.I just smiled at her.

Less than 2 months from now,I'll be sitting for my 1st semester exam.I'm kinda worried about it,as I've been in an extremely relaxed mood and situation to study.I'm the sort of person who never works hard without being pressured.Currently, there's not much pressure to push me into studying.

A week away from Hari Raya, which means another 4 days break(in fact only 2 excluding weekends). But how many days should I expect since I pay for my studies?

Gotta be off now.Quite busy tonight...

LAN presentation

1st October... It's another refreshing start for a much anticipated month.I've always liked October,a fondness that is indescribable with words. It rained for the whole day and the weather was cooling.

It was our presentation day for LAN.Only the first 2 groups had to present and however we were the first group, how lucky!Just when we were to start presenting,I somehow felt a little bit nervous.Anyhow,we managed to captivate everybody's attention and got a satisfying 9.5/10 for it.

Played badminton with my brother, feeling really tired now. Before I go to bed,I'd like to wish for today to be a great start for the month!

Mooncake Festival

Yesterday was the Mooncake Festival.I barely celebrated it with my family and relatives. It was the birthday of my deceased uncle. Therefore we didn't really celebrate it as we did in the previous years. The moon was surprisingly bright and round in shape.Never had I seen such bright and round-shaped moon during the Mooncake Festival in the past.Surely it can't be a bad sign to see a glowing and pleasing moon right?

Today's my mum's birthday. We treated her to a dinner on Sunday as a celebration in advance.Anyhow, one of my relatives bought a cake and a bouquet of flowers for her.I lighted the candle and sang the birthday song to her before she placed a nice cut to the cake.We took turns to give her a peck on the cheeks. She must have felt pleased with the priceless presents we gave her.

Day of Seafood

It's another Sunday.Mum went to open her shop.So I spent half of the day at home, with my siblings and dad.

In the evening, after mum came back,we went out to the restaurant around the former Subang Airport to have our dinner. The dinner was meant to be an advanced celebration for mum's birthday, which falls on Wednesday.

The restaurant, known as La La Chong, was renowned for its tasty yet affordable seafood. We ordered La La,crabs in 2 flavours, bean curd and a plate of vege.It was an enjoyable dinner and the restaurant was packed with a huge crowd.Though it cost us 140+,I think we had a good dinner much worthier than the price.

What a memorable dinner to have before school starts again tomorrow...

7th week

I didn't go to Genting as had planned.Tomorrow is the 7th week of my uncle's death. We'll be going to have a ceremony or prayer for him.Never would I have thought that half a hundred days have passed since my uncle passed away.Time passes too fast.

My dad's on the way back from Sarawak now.He was running an errand for his company and had departed for Sarawak this morning. He should be arriving soon.

I just saw a shocking headline.Jose Mourinho of Chelsea had left the club on a mutual consent.I never have thought he would leave Chelsea,at least not this soon after he had landed 8 silverware for Chelsea in 3 years. My sympathy to you,Jose. The EPL has just lost a great asset.

'Secret' by Jay Chou was a bomb, given the fact that it was his debut movie as the director of a movie. The movie,in some way, reminded me of my first love.LOL...

School's starting again next week,*sighs*

Sick...

After 2 times climbing the Gasing Hill,I had been sick till now.How weak I am?Went to the morning market with my aunt on Saturday.Well,It's been raining everyday these days and it makes me feel comfortable.I love rainy day.A week of holidays has passed. Now it's up to me to spend my invaluable time for the remaining week.Basically there's nothing much special happening recently.I bet most of my friends are looking forward to the Genting Trip this week?Soon they'll be coming back from their hometown respectively.

So,that's all for now.

2nd Visit

This morning,Alvin,David and I went to the Gasing Hill for the 2nd time in 3 days.We took the 2nd path which we hadn't managed to explore on Monday. The path looked shady and quite eerie, nevertheless we were able to go through the bushes and branches. The short journey was rather tougher than the one on Monday, despite the fact that today's journey was obviously shorter. The slope was very steep and muddy, with some thorny vines and blood-sucking mosquitoes. We got to the other side of the hill today,a scene we had never seen before. We saw KL tower and Twin Tower from there. We even took the chance to take some photos! We strolled past a small river in the jungle. There were fishes clearly swimming in it.Before we went back,we had a refreshing and filling lunch at the A&W near the Taman Jaya LRT station.

Another tiring day but a good workout!Looking forward to more exploration tomorrow!

A Tiring Day

This morning,Alvin,David and I went to Gasing Hill.We did something sort of jungle trekking there. It was an adventurous experience to climb up and down in the apparently secluded jungle. The pathway of the jungle hill was not flat and straight but sloppy and slippery. We ended up spending 2 hours in the hill.We got past a suspension bridge and a watchtower. We nearly ran out of water as we survived with one and a half bottle there.I never knew that there was such a jungle at the hill before today. An exciting and fun morning walk with them.

Before we began our little adventure, the day was drizzling. We had some light meal at Raju's restaurant before embarking to the hill. After the energy-consuming 2 hours,we went to Lotus,an Indian restaurant with appropriate air-conditioner.Had a nescafe special for 3 bucks there while chatting with Alvin and David.

At around 12,we headed back to the Taman Jaya LRT station.I was supposed to wait for my car, while Alvin and David were going back via the LRT.

In the evening,I went to the Pasar Malam in SS2 with my cousin brother. The traffic was terribly jammed and we went round and round seeking for a parking lot.We bought some light food and snack there.

Conclusion:A tiring day with fun.

1st Semester Break

Finally,my 1st semester break has come. Most of my classmates have headed back to their hometown respectively, leaving a small number of us still in K.L.I have found out that I'm seriously in problem with my economics, therefore hopefully I'll be able to spend some time on it during this 2-week long holidays.

Basically,I still don't have any plan for the break just yet, except for a 2-day trip to Genting Highlands with my classmates when they return from their hometown later.I wonder how they are all doing now back at their own home. However it is,this'll be the loneliest holiday without the cheer and laugh from my departed uncle.

I shall now startoff my holiday with playing games!

2007=a sinister year

I don't like the year 2007.A lot of people around me have passed away one after another. This isn't a year to enjoy.I somehow so desperately wish that time could make a leap to next year...

Back to studies, finally 2 tests have gone. With only few days to go before a 2-week holiday, everyone is starting to be in a jovial and relaxed mood.So far I could still cope with most of the subjects being taught except economics, which I think I have to put in extra effort to catch up.

Flips to football,Chelsea have finally suffered their 1st defeat of the season!Everything was worth it as I spent my precious sleeping time sitting in front of the TV to see how they lose.Your chance is coming,MU!

Apparently a month has passed since the departure of my beloved uncle.I miss him so much...

50th Year of Independence

MERDEKA!MERDEKA!MERDEKA!MERDEKA!MERDEKA!MERDEKA!MERDEKA!
That was exactly what our father of independence,Tunku Abdul Rahman, had shouted in front of a sea of crowd at Dataran Merdeka 50 years ago.

50 years have passed.Malaysia has experienced a drastic evolution from a rural country into a modern country.People from all races have mixed and lived well with each other and the economy of the nation has been in an upwards trend ever since. We get to enjoy a variety of food from different races and celebrate festivals together.

I would like to grab this opportunity to make some MERDEKA resolutions:
1)crime rates to be reduced
2)disasters to be diminished
3)country's economy to soar
4)harmony among people
5)no more bias,corruption and prejudice

To add joy to the nation, our football team thrashed the over-confident Myanmar in the Merdeka Cup tournament 3-1 to clinch the 39th coveted trophy after 14 years of deprivation. It was a good sign of revitalisation in our football team.Hopefully they would not get carried away by this shocking victory.

A message for myself:
Be brave, determined and courageous in achieving what you want.

Merdeka Run

Today Taylor's held a run named Merdeka Run.Well,it was an event jointly held by several colleges to instill and cultivate the spirit of patriotism among the students.I get myself involved in it along with my classmates. We signed up days ago but I completely forgot about it,thus had to run with my pair of long pants.(imagine running under a blazing hot sun with long trousers)

We all gathered at a point and got up into a bus where it took us to the starting point. The run was enjoyable, holding a Jalur Gemilang while running made me feel so cool, especially when we were protected by the cops and the vehicles had to give way to us.(Muahaha)Sweats started to trickle down my face and it was hot.Nevertheless,we managed to complete the run and we were photographed and given a bottle of water to quench our thirst, buns to cure our stomach and apples?!possibly to keep us healthy?(an apple a day keeps the doctor away as the saying goes)

Later Alvin,Jess and I went to Jack's place to take a revitalising shower before we had lunch together. Then lessons continued as usual.I was glad to get a borderline A for accounts as I hadn't really studied for it with no background for it whatsoever during SPM.Maybe it was purely my luck,I shouldn't be that fortunate next time.It has been going well in college so far.Thank God I could still cope with the studies for the time being.Who knows what lies ahead if I don't start to work hard now?
That's it for today, still gotta study for the useless LAN test,sigh.....

Weekend

Weekends are usually days for me to rest. However I have this LAN assignment bugging me for days.Went to 1U on friday with my cousin, auntie, niece and siblings. We had our lunch there at Dragon-i.The atmosphere there was refreshing and comfortable, not to mention how tasty the food was.But it cost us nearly hundred bucks for the lunch.School holidays finally end tomorrow, bro and sis will have to go to school again, meaning I'll have no more car to drive to school=(.Besides, the food stall that I visit frequently for my breakfast will be closed temporarily for construction work. How sad that is?

It's another week passed by,tomorrow's school day again.Life goes on...

Another day

Today,my cousin's wife friend had passed away as a result of liver cancer. It saddened me when I first heard of the unpleasant news.It has never felt good to know about someone passing away. One thing I did realise was that time never stopped for anyone. We choose the path for ourselves. We can be sad and break down for an unlimited period, ignoring anything happening around us;or we can be moody and gloomy for a short while and then move on with life ahead. We make the decision for ourselves.Though the biggest tragedy in life is that we will never know when we will depart from this wonderful yet agonising world...

20th August 07

Why are my siblings having holidays while I still have to go to school?Yea,it's a one-week holidays for primary and secondary school throughout the country. The Badminton World Championships ended on a high yesterday with China dominated the titles for men's singles, women's singles and doubles while Indonesia grabbed the remaining men's doubles and mixed doubles.Beforehand, the media and press had been exaggerating how likely our shuttles were going to land our country the 1st gold medal in the competition ever, with the championships being held in our homeland for the 1st time. Our best performance was only a runner-up for men's singles and 2 runner-ups for men's doubles. What happened in the end was that our sportsmen and sportswomen failed to play up to our expectations.Luckily,I didn't book the tickets in advance when it had crossed to my mind that I went there to watch it live with my friend,or else I would be apparently throwing my bucks into the sea.

From badminton to football,I had been extremely disappointed over the below-par performance put up by the Manchester United players.I felt like asking them what had happened that made them languishing at the bottom with 2 points from 3 games,a goal for and 2 goals against.I was informed that this was their worst start ever in the EPL since 1992,when the EPL was first established I suppose.
Fergie,it's time to buy a targetman who resembles your once glorious Dutchman Ruud van Nisterooy to convert all the chances created into the back of the net.

That's all for today, had been exhausted running up and down for nearly half of the day.

1st day of ghost month

9 days since my uncle left us.I can't stop but to keep mentioning how immensely fast time ticks past us everyday.Today's the 1st day of the ghost month in the Chinese calender. As we could see stages being set up nearly everywhere for the hungry ghost festival.

As everyday goes by,I keep seeking the true definition of life.Life's unpredictable and unexpected. No one knows what lies ahead of them.EPL started yesterday and Manchester United were held to a goalless draw by Reading despite dominating the whole game and played with a player more for the last minutes.

World Championships of Badminton kicked off too today.Long to see a good performance by our fellow shuttlers.I'll always support you guys!

Life?

Days after the departure of my uncle,I have been sick since then. The unfortunate incident of my uncle tells me how much I should cherish the people around me.Time flies everyday. It's still too much a fact for me to accept that my uncle's gone.Everything happened just so suddenly. Not only me,but every of my relative is unable to accept my uncle's death.

What's life about?Fate decides everything.Everyone is destined to live for a specific period of time and no one can change it.

Nevertheless, what we could do is to live life to the fullest without leaving any regrets behind.I suppose...

Good Bye,Uncle!

After 19 days of battle with the god of death,my uncle eventually succumbed to the misery he had been bearing all these long. The sadness and despair I feel are so enormous that I cant control my tears from trickling down my cheeks continuously.

4th August2007,1.30a.m.
My auntie and cousin rushed to hospital after receiving an urgent call from the hospital.
2.00a.m.
My auntie and cousin were already by the bedside of my uncle. He was suffering miserably on the bed.Doctors and nurses filled the little room. They tried numerous ways to save my uncle. My auntie and cousin called my uncle. My uncle opened a little of his eyes, managed to have a glimpse of his wife and eldest son, before closing them for eternity.
2.20a.m.
The doctor pronounced the death of my uncle...My auntie and cousin cried unstoppably...
2.40a.m.
The phone in my house rang.My sister burst into tears when she picked up the phone. She told us that my uncle had passed away. Before the call, there were a number of calls but we didn't manage to pick up the phone.I knew my auntie had been calling us...
3.00a.m.
Dad and I went to the hospital as soon as we could. The air was chilling, extraordinarily cold.My heart was pounding abnormally fast.I can't believe the worst thing that would happen had happened now.
3.30a.m.
We were there,at last.We quickened our pace, heading to the ICU room where my uncle had been staying. As soon as we reached there,we saw my auntie and 2 cousin brothers standing there with gloomy looks.Apparently they had tears in their eyes.I couldn't see my uncle,he was covered in a white cloth.
4.00a.m.
We were shocked by what had happened. We waited for my uncle to be sent to another room.He then was sent out of the hospital to the funeral hall.
5.00a.m.
We went back to my auntie's place. We told them to prepare for the funeral before going back to my house.Tears never stopped coming out from my eyes.Dad and I then went back home and contacted our relatives. My auntie was too devastated to do that.
4.00p.m.
Nearly everyone was at the funeral hall.I saw my uncle lying in the casket.I turned my head away as I can't stand to see more of it.

5th August 2007
I spent almost the whole day at the funeral hall, accompanying my uncle's body...

6th August 2007,6.45a.m.
I woke up at the funeral hall.I didn't go back the day before.I went back to wash up and buy some food for my uncle's "breakfast".Today's the 3rd day, which meant he would be cremated.
10.00a.m.
We paid our last respect to my beloved uncle before he was driven to the cremation hall.
11.00a.m.
He was cremated at last.I had lost my uncle forever.

I miss you so much right now uncle.I just simply can't accept the fact that you have left us so suddenly.I still have alot to talk to you.Everything seems too late now.May you rest in peace. You'll always remain in my memory.I miss you...

An Infection Outbreak

Today I spent 9 bucks for my lunch, which I considered as something unwise to do.It wasn't something tasty and filling.

There was an infection outbreak in the ICU at University Hospital.Visitors are limited to 1 per patient(normally 2).Glad to see my uncle is recovering little by little.Though we were told before that the conditions of the patients in ICU are unstable and may experience a drastic change anytime.Nonetheless,it sort of gave us some relief and hope to know that my uncle's situation is heading towards recovery.

Tomorrow starts the PC fair at KLCC.Planned to go with friends but who knows what might happen in the future?

2 weeks

2 weeks have gone, yet my uncle's still lying on the bed in ICU at University Hospital.Nevertheless we were all relieved to at last see some improvement in his fitness, though not a significant one,but enough to reduce some worries from us.He now can at least move his fingers and is able to urinate on his own(been depending on a dialyses machine for the past 1 and a 1/2 weeks). The memory of me sending him to the hospital still remains vividly in my mind. The way he yelled for pain while I rushed him to the ward.It was very unbearable of me to ever go through that again.Life's hard and unpredictable, isn't it?How long more do we all must wait impatiently and worriedly for his recovery?

His eyes are full of tears everytime I visited him.I truly understood how he had been feeling after spending weeks on the bed, without eating, drinking, walking or talking.Imagine the hard time he had to endure and still going through even at this very moment? He had always wanted to say something but he couldn't do so.He could hardly nod or shake his head when I talked to him.

Please, let him recover as soon as possible.
Please, move him away from pain and misery.
I can only pray...

Accident!

For the 1st time in my life did I witness a traffic accident right in front of me.I saw the whole process of the collision between a car and a bus.I was sitting in the car with my dad when we were on our way heading to my college. It actually happened at a junction, and our car was about to cross the junction.According to the law in Malaysia, one's car must stop before crossing the junction if there's a white box on their road. The car, which was a Wira was crossing the junction. He was not at all aware of the bus, which was travelling at a great speed. The bus driver didn't seem to decrease his speed eventhough he ought to pause at the junction before crossing it.The first half of the Wira apparently went past the junction but the bus inevitably hit the back of the car. Both the drivers seemed shocked and stunned about what had just occurred.

I visited my uncle, who was still in ICU now for the 2nd week.I felt an intense pain in my heart seeing him lying on the bed with lots of wires and tubes on him.He was in a half-conscious condition, which meant he could hear what we say but couldn't talk to us,nor could he move his limbs.I didn't know what I could do to soothe his misery.I felt so helpless.May God bless him all the time.

A week of devastation

A week, yea it's exactly a week since last Monday when I sent my uncle to the hospital. His condition hasn't improved though. If he did,he wouldn't have by now still staying in the ICU.I felt like asking him so many questions but he never seemed to have a sign of opening his eyes, let alone waking up.How long will I have to wait till he regains his consciousness?I can see no ending of this eternal waiting. The bills have been piling up.Expenses of a week in the hospital are so frightening immense that we all could hardly afford. If the money spent on the hospital fees were to be put in for other use,I think a new car can be bought without instalments.

"Please wake up and let's go home."It's the only thing I so desperately wanna convey to my uncle, but can he hear me?I sincerely wish he could......

Harry Potter's Day

21st July,a day made by reknowned author J.K.Rowling to officially release her final book for Harry Potter worldwide. It's expected that enormous crowd around the world would be rushing to grab a copy of the highly-anticipated book.Today's a cheerful day for Potter fans and practically everyone would stop everything to just read the book.

In contrast, worries surround me as my uncle is still in ICU right now.I really pray for him to recover, very very much...

A Gloomy Day

Yesterday was somewhat I would call a black day.The moment I reached my aunt's house,I saw my uncle keep vomiting and complaining about the pain in his stomach, while holding his tummy moaning for relief.I couldn't bear to see my uncle continue to suffer,so I drove him to the nearest clinic.I registered for him and held him into the consultation room.We weren't the first though, but a kind man let us go in before him.

At that time,my uncle's complexion was completely pale,he looked frail as well. After the initial examination from the doctor(Dr.Ho),I knew the situation was quite severe by looking at his expression. He quickly commanded the nurses to prepare necessary tools so that he could make a more comprehensive body check on my uncle. My uncle's heartbeat was checked, blood pressure was measured and Dr.Ho even used an OSK for a more thorough heart checkup. As a result of my uncle's unbearable pain in the right abdomen,he asked for a shot of analgesic. My uncle by then was already half-conscious though.Dr Ho explained to me that the condition of my uncle wasn't that optimistic and he suggested me to take my uncle to a hospital. He wrote an emergency letter for me and requested me to send my uncle directly to the emergency ward.

The nurses at the clinic were helpful in settling my uncle into the car.I drove him to the Hospital of Malaya.Upon arriving there,I stopped him at the emergency lane and asked for help from the personnel in charge.I later parked my car upstairs, before running down to meet my uncle, who was already on a wheel chair by then. The way the staff at the hospital handled their jobs really pissed me off. They took forever to just make a registration for my uncle and asked us to wait for ages for the consultation, and ironically we were at the EMERGENCY ward.Yes,it was my uncle's turn.(The announcement they made was addressing to mosquitoes I suppose,as the volume of their voice was apparently inaudible. The nurse ordered my uncle to fill a bottle with his urine, after reading through the letter from the clinic. My uncle couldn't do that as the pain was too extreme for him to endure. Then the nurse told us to wait again outside for our turn.I really couldn't understand. This was an emergency case that had to be handled urgently and carefully, but the way they did their job showed as if my uncle's life was valueless.During the waiting period,I had asked the staff there twice at least to hurry as my uncle couldn't bear to wait anymore.

Feeling uncomfortable to see my uncle suffer and was furious at the staff there,I drove my uncle to another hospital, this time a private hospital-Assunta.No difference as the previous one,I stopped at the emergency lane. The staff helped me put my uncle on a wheelchair and pushed him in for an urgent treatment. After I parked my car,I then rushed to the counter and registered for him.I then accompanied him to go for the x-ray scanning. It was already 6 something.I then spoke to the doctor(Dr.Robert Louis) about my uncle's problem. He gazed at the X-ray of my uncle and told me there was some problem in the right part of the stomach of my uncle, but they still hadn't been able to rectify the exact cause of the pain.My uncle had to be admitted into the hospital.I contacted my cousin brother, who was also my uncle's eldest son to take over and make the admission procedure.

I then went home with an exhausted body but a worried soul, praying for him to be in a satisfying condition as soon as possible.

Driving 2 College

Finally, the moment has come.I'm able to drive to college myself. The traffic there is as unimaginable as ever, parking will never suffice and it's like everybody drives there. To be really lucky enough,I can park my car in front of a friend's house but the setback is to have to walk a 7-8 minutes distance maybe?

There are several things I don't fancy about Taylor's:
1)My Maths lecturer doesn't make any difference in terms of improving my mathematical solving skill.
2)My Econs lecturer tends to have replacement class after school hour. The class never ends on time as she loves to extend class.(according to her,she has lots of time to spare)
3)The toilets aren't up to standard.
4)Traffic,well you get it.
5)The computers are of inferior quality.
6)Extremely limited parking lots,if there are, fees charged are insane.

and the list goes on...
Those are things I have to endure for the next 18 months.Hopefully something can be carried out to improve the things mentioned above.

Unforgettable Fun

Yesterday was my 5th day at college.A day before that,a friend suggested to go for a movie with some classmates after the lesson ended.According to another friend, those who were taking law had to attend a law debate at 3.So I thought the movie plan had to be delayed or worse, cancelled.Anyway,we decided to discuss it in class the next day.

I think yesterday was my day as we somehow managed to go for a movie despite having an additional class at 2.They had no law debate to attend but the economics lecturer nearly disappointed us by having a replacement class after school. At first,we had the intention to skip the class, but for a movie? Was it worth it?We appeared to be undecided and attended the class anyway after lunch.

Took a bus,an improved rapid kl.My first time taking rapid kl since its change of system. Before this,we all agreed to go to Sunway Pyramid but hey,how to go there?Bus or cab?The dilemma was dissolved when we all saw a bus with a cardboard stating the destination name.We got up and wondered whether it would go to reach Midvalley before Pyramid or vice versa.

Finally, thank god and we arrived with enthusiasm and well,a little excitement? We all planned for transformer the movie but hey,ah Koh,a.k.s David saw the wrong time for the movie.Compelled to opt for 2nd choice,we went for Surf's up.Guess what,we sat in the 2nd row from the screen. What an amazing experience.I've never sit such close to the enormous screen in my life, not even once and I was totally dismayed by it.Initially I was sort of dizzy gazing at the screen. Therefore,I laid my head down and leaning on the chair in order to have better view.In between the period,I tried to tilt my head to and fro.Luckily it lasted only an hour more,or else I would not be able to sleep then. The 1st thing everybody said after the movie was complaining how aching or painful their neck was.including me of course.Worse still,an experience I would never forget.A memorable short trip with a bunch of new mates.GREAT!

Today, went for another movie with my cousin brother.Transformer was the name.Having heard of how the movie had been getting compliments from literally everyone that had seen it,we were moved to watch it for ourselves.Well, the movie was full of action-packed scenes and we were thrilled for it.It was not the perfect one but it still earned an A from me.

070707,the date for today.I call it the magical 7 day.How sad it is to find it ending within minutes...

5th July 2007

Another day's going to pass by.Today I know some more classmates. The maths class was as usual, still as boring as ever. The maths lecturer does not how to teach, hence we all end up suffering ourselves.I had quite some periods free for today;econs lecturer was absent for 2 consecutive days,LAN hadn't started,I didnt take law plus a 60 minutes break.Spent some time at the library with my classmates.I finally bought 3 books, cost me 200 bucks.

(I wonder why there are so many ants in my house lately?)I can see them virtually anywhere in my house.I'm tired, but I can't sleep. Is this something uncommon happening to me?I'm supposed to study, but I'm not. So?I'm getting lazier and lazier.I knew a friend today. She's my classmate.A lot of similarities between us.Hopefully she may see this blog haha.Time really does fly.I'm scared of the way it passes by me everyday.

Taylor's

Yesterday was my orientation day at Taylor's.As expected, went there for briefing basically. My 1st impression about the campus was still acceptable,in the sense that the environment was equipped with some facilities which I think might come in handy throughout my studies.

22 students in my class, including me of course. So,today's the 2nd day.The only thing that left a big impact on me was how the traffic outside was in a disarray before and after school.Got to know some classmates today, the toilets were quite dirty and luckily my lecturers were not that bad after all.

Look forward to experiencing a new and different life there, though acknowledging that hard times are nearing soon.

Drawing Close

As the days of college life approaching,I somehow have a mixture feeling of excitement and anxiety.Long for the brand new student life in a college that is not bound to any rules; while worry for the bad rumours that I have heard of from my friends about college.z

'It's a phase of life',said a friend of mine.To most of the teenagers nowadays, they will continue to pursue their education after secondary level.Parents will make sure that their children get the best education before embarking on another stage of life~working.

To those adults, working is something unpleasant to do.Majority live to work. They claim that working is the only way to earn income.A significant and excellent education ensures one to have a well-paid job upon graduating. So,that's their definition of life.

Folks in the past did not emphasise on education. In fact, most of them are not comprehensively educated. They had to help reduce the burden of their family and yet they lived a happy life.

A degree now is apparently the least requirement for applying a job(even not a very decent one).Time passed, things changed.I believe that most kids now only remember school and tuition centre as the most-visited place during their childhood.Loads of them acquire spectacles even at a tender age as a result of being exposed to video games,TV,handphones and a lot more other devices for a long period of time.

I wonder what awaits me in the future as the time continues to flow in a frightening rate.

Heated Afternoon

A blazing hot afternoon with a glaring sun hanging on the sky,I could felt the unbearable heat eventhough my standing fan was right in front facing me.I was at my aunt's house, when she asked me to do her a favour(help her chop a tree in the garden). So,my invaluable experience began with me holding a blade on my right hand.It was a guava tree, its trunks were as solid as a rock though.I gave a first swing of my blade towards the tree, and the blade apparently only sliced its skin off it.My 2nd attempt and 3rd one were much stronger than the 1st try.To my dismay,I only inflicted some minor damages to the tree, let alone chopping the whole tree off.I realised it would not be as easy as I had thought.I continued hitting the tree, without realising how much time had drifted past, till one of its trunk fell down. The difficult task eventually lasted for nearly half an hour, but my shirt was completely soaked with sweat. No choice for me as I had to clean myself up.

I found this experience exciting and looking forward to it again.

Unfortunate Duo

"A couple assaulted by a gang of 4,the guy suffered a severe injury to his foot and her girlfriend raped." I heard this shocking news from the radio while on the way out in the morning.According to the news, the couple was on the way back home at 10p.m. before being chased by an unknown car.The car, alleged to be deliberately hitting the couple's car several times from the back while chasing them, was believed to be intending to rob the couple by creating an accident. The driver, however sensed something wrong and tried to escaped by increasing the speed of his car.The 10km chase finally ended when the couple drove into an alley in a town(a place where they were not familiar with). The couple's car broke down while they tried to reverse their car.Knowing that they were in great danger, the girl called her boyfriend's brother, seeking for help. Her effort was to no avail. His lover's brother without an ado contacted the police station but he ended up being denied a helping hand. The officer who picked up the call refused to lend a helping hand and the reason given was that he was not in charge of the territory where the couple was at.Feeling helpless and anxious, the victim's brother decided to look for the couple himself.Unfortunately,it was too late as the gang of 4 eventually got them.Pointing a blade at each of the victim's neck, the 4 robbers snatched away cash, handphones and some valuables. They then continuosly punch and kicked the male victim, slashed his left leg before forcing them into their car and drove them to a forest. There, one of the robbers stayed in the car as the other 3 took turn to rape the female victim,as her badly-beaten boyfriend could only watched helplessly and painfully. The couple was left by the roadside as the robbers fleed with their car. With her boyfriend lying unconsciously on the ground, the mentally and physically-tortured woman could only wave and yell for help from by-passers.They were then sent to hospital by a family who went past the spot.

According to the press, the victim's brother blamed the cops for being not responsible.'Had the cop who received the call took action, this tragedy would not have happened',he said furiously and emotionally.

I wish the concerned department could repent on their mistakes so that such incident will not occur in the future.

A Day at Genting

7a.m. 3rd June Sunday
After packing up and having breakfast,my family and I headed for Genting in a relaxed mood. The traffic was smooth and we arrived there at about 9a.m.

We weren't planning to stay overnight, instead decided to seize the day by playing our heart out.The 1st place to visit was the 'Snow World'.Well, with the thermometer's reading stopped at -4 Celsius,I soon realised it'll be a freakishly freezing experience inside. As expected when we got in,the cold inside was indescribable.Took some photos there and we actually ate ice-cream in there!Though only stayed for approximately 40 minutes, the chilling experience would forever be engraved in my mind.

So,it was afternoon and we had lunch at KFC.Literally every corner was packed with crowd and we had to settle at a table near the corner. It was not that bad though.

Next stop-Genting Theme Park.
'Arghhhhh!!!' The people up in the sky playing space shot shouted hysterically."wow" I thought to myself. It's fun!I wanna join up the queue as well! But apparently the line was leading to no ending.I can't even see the last person queueing there.Lol.So the whole family went for this'Matahari' to have a complete view of the park. After that we walked to the 'Dinosaur Land'.There,I saw a crazy guy using his handphone doing a recording, with him as the person doing the talking,as if he was hosting a TV show.Continuously he repeated 'don't underestimate the recording,it can go on show on TV3 anytime'.Oh my god,I laughed in my heart.Fortunately or unfortunately,we were the last group of people who managed to get on to a rake that would lead us into the Dino land before it rained. We were stranded in the island and what?trapped in a Dino island? We were lucky to survive then. The rain seemed never to come to a halt.Everything had to stop operating.Everybody waited impatiently and started grousing.

The pouring rain had eventually become a mere dazzle. The mist was thick and the floor appeared to be slippery.Everyone was forced to walk with caution. We then went for one of the thrill rides(also one of those that was open for play)-spinner.My parents refused to join though. As it neared to our turn, our heart pounded in a significant pace.Never had I imagined that the ride would turn out to be such a fun!I thought it'd be the last thing we play before we went home as the rain didn't stop. But we decided to give it a little longer wait, and our patience paid off.The rain did stop and we got to stay a moment longer and played a couple more of things.

Later,we went for 'Tea Cup',a souvenir shop to buy some memorable items,'Pirate Train','Pirate Ship' and at last a stage?!There actually was a contest at the'Merdeka Stage' just next to the 'Pirate Ship'.The host was to give out prizes for contestants upstairs. To my dismay he called my dad and I upstairs to participate in one of the competitions. We were to hold as many 'mister potato' cans as possible using any of our body part.Surprisingly,I won the contest with 19 cans(How did I do it?) and got a pack full of junk food and snacks.

Time to say bye to Genting finally. We were all tired but satisfied with the journey and went home reluctantly(my bro and sis did though). The mist was still thick and the rain accompanied us way back till we were home.

Book Fest 2007

Yesterday I went to the Book Fest 2007 organised by Popular Co. at KLCC.It was the 2nd time Popular was organising it and my 2nd visit in 2 years as well.So as i expected, the crowd was enormous and the amount of books was apparently uncountable.Well,i wasn't alone. My cousin bro and his friend went there with me as well.Upon arriving there,we had lunch at DOME.Believe it or not, that was the 1st time I dine-in there.I remembered before I left home,I'd promised my bro and sis that I'd buy them some books as they were forbidden to go along.I spent nearly 4 hours there searching books, only less than quarter of the time used was for my own sake.Though I'd searched painstakingly literally every corner to get my siblings' books, all my effort turned out to be vain. Therefore,I just grabbed some books which I thought were suitable to them and a book for myself before going back.Sorry to my sis as I didn't bring her back anything except a horoscope bookmark.

*I think I had better treat her to a meal as a form of apology* ~not a bad idea,I suppose~

Tying the knot together

27th of May was the wedding day for my cousin sister and her boyfriend. It's was a great day with a significant attendance and magnificent atmosphere. My family and I attended the ceremony,a simple yet meaningful one though, early in the morning.I think in my heart,"It's easy to fall in love or be in a relationship with someone, but how often do we see couples can walk down the remaining of their lives with company from their partner?" I wonder...

Congratulations to my cousin sister who finally found her true love and I wish her whole-heartedly that they'll stay together for eternity.
